WORK FOR THE DOLE

The Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council hosts a work for the dole team in partnership with Joblink Plus and Orange City Council.

The team work with Orange City Council on projects within local reserves and parks assisting to maintain and improve facilities for the public. They also work on properties owned by the Land Counicl to upgrade an maintain facilities. As part of involvement in this team the participants complete their White card, Chemical accreditation and Centroc safety induction training. Coupled with the practical skills they gain, this all can be added to their resumes to assist them in their job seeking. A great bunch of people helping Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council and Orange Council to achieve outcomes for the local community.

 Well done!
