SUPPORTED PLAYGROUP

Bush Babies

The Bush Babies playgroup was established by the Orange Aboriginal Women's Gathering to meet a need in the community as seen by these women. With support from Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council, and funding by Prime Minister and Cabinet, Supported Playgroup has grown from one Bush Babies playgroup to 5 playgroups Monday to Friday at various times of the day.
The playgroups cater for children aged from birth to before school and aims to break down social isolation and help families to find services they may need. There is no cost to join playgroup and morning tea is provided.
