Walumarra Yanaagirbang is designed to provide trauma informed, culturally responsive and timely support to women and children who experience domestic, family and sexual violence, across Orange, Blayney, Cabonne, Bathurst, and Oberon.
How we can help
Walumarra Yanaagirbang provides women and their children with free, safe and confidential support, including:
- Immediate domestic and family violence specialist support
- First Nations domestic and family violence specialist support
- Safety planning
- Risk assessments
- Court support for clients
- Assistance with housing and crisis accommodation
- Writing support letters for clients
- Assistance accessing victim services
- Referrals to specialist health services, including counselling and psychology
- Referrals to internal and external support programs
