Bila Madhu

Ngumbaay Bila Madhu Gun Ngang Ltd (Bila Madhu) was created to support economic development through commercial partnerships, development opportunities as well as investment and strategic asset management. 

The long-term intention is to build a community “future fund” model, where successful commercial activity creates an investment base that generates sustainable income and intergenerational wealth for the Orange Aboriginal community. 

A wholly owned subsidiary of the Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council, Bila Madhu has a majority Aboriginal, skills-based board. The Board has been carefully selected to provide commercial governance expertise, strategic oversight of development opportunities and professional assessment of investment proposals. 

Although the Bila Madhu Board provides advice and recommendations to the OLALC Board, it does not replace OLALC authority and control.
